- Your page must be related in some way to the Phantom of the Opera.
- It must contain unique or useful content.
- You need to have a solid design, with a good layout that's easy to navigate.
- There must be an OBVIOUS link to the ring code on your top, or index, page. This ensures that the ring generates hits.
- Please! No pages that are copy-cat versions of someone else's page! If you can't be original, we don't need you.
Instructions
To get the HTML and graphics you need for your page, follow these instructions:
- After you've read the requirements and the following instructions, or received an invitation, go back to the referring page, and click on "Apply." Fill in the fields and sumbit it to add your site to the queue. You should receive an e-mail containing your site id and password. Don't forget them!
- After you've submitted your site to the queue, you will receive an e-mail that contains the HTML fragment for your page. Save it.
- A panel of reviewers will visit your site to make sure that it meets the Phantom's Choice standars. If you are accepted into the ring, you will receive a notice by e-mail.
- You may then add the ring code to your site. (You can cut and paste the code from the queue submission e-mail.)
- Make sure that the fields reflect the correct data for your personal site. I.E. It should have your site id, your e-mail address, et cetera.
- There are several different sets of graphics, and different styles of the ring code. You may download the graphics you wish to use to your hard drive, then upload it to your OWN server. Do NOT link to the images here! You will be promtly removed from the ring if you do.
- Make sure, especially if you decide to use a different code set than the one sent in the e-mail, make sure it reflects your personal information and the image location.
- Once you've put the code on your page, e-mail me and ask that your site be added to the ring.
- If for any reason you need to edit your site information, you may do so by going to the referring page, and clicking on "Edit."
