Fox Valley
wins medals at AAU national championship

Members of
the Fox Valley Park District Judo Club won 11 medals, including five gold,
in the AAU National Championships at the Wisconsin State Fair on Aug 13,
2006, in Milwaukee.
With 10
members competing in the tournament, the club walked away with five national
champions, three silver medals, and three bronze medals. Winners included:

Instructor), Gold Medal, 175 lbs., Masters Division

160 lbs. Masters Division

Adreil Villa, Gold Medal
215 lbs. 18-30 Mens Division

14-years-old, Gold Medal 160 lbs. Womens Divison

6-years-old, Gold Medal 5-6 Girls Division and Silver Medal 7-8 Girls

Fox Valley
Judo Club was started by Dr. Don Cunningham, fourth dan in Kodokan Judo.
Since his relocation to teach at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, the club
is now coached by one of his former students, Mr. Frank Davison, second dan
in Kodokan Judo.

Members of the Fox Valley Parks District Judo Club participated
in the AAU National Championships at the Wisconsin State Fair on
Sunday, Aug 13, 2006, in Milwaukee. Competitors from the club
won 11 medals, including 5 first place, 3 second place, and 3
