Shitachi attacks Uchitachi's front leg (ashi ate). Uchitachi pulls his leg back. |

Ashiage (lifting leg) |
|
|
Shitachi hits Uchitachi's front leg (ashi ate). Uchitachi dodges the attack raising the leg. |

|
Soriyoke (swaying) |
|
|
Shitachi hits with mawashi ate (naname uchi, kesa giri) to Uchitachi's left shoulder using a large and slow swing. Uchitachi sways the upper part of the body backwards without moving the legs. |

|
Dohikiyoke (drawing back the torso) |
|
|
Shitachi attacks aiming at the side of Uchitachi's abdomen (do ate, do kiri). Uchitachi dodges the attack drawing back the torso without moving his legs. |
|
|
Huseyoke (ducking) |
|
|
Shitachi attacks at Uchitachi's head (mayokokiri, yokomen). Uchitachi ducks out of the line of attack protecting the head with Kodachi. |
