Shitachi is in chu dan or middle position
Uchitachi is in hasso gamae or shoulder position

Fig 1
Uchitachi steps forward with her right foot and attempts yoko geri (side cut)
Shitachi pulls his right foot back to neku dachi (cat stance) and applies yoko uke (side block)

Figure 2,3
Shitachi steps forward with his right foot and does kiri oroshi (cut downward)
Uchitachi's right steps back quickly and applies morote jodan uke.(2 handed block)
Note position of the bokken across the bottom of the fingers and resting on the tips of the little finger and thumb. This allows for more stability.

Fig 4,5
Shitachi steps forward with his left foot and does a yoko giri (side cut) to Uchi's migi do(right side of the body)
Uchi slides back a little bit and applies morote yoko uke (two hand side block)

Fig 6,7
Uchi tachi applies a pushing down movement (uchiotoshi) and knocks shitachi's blade out of the way.
This is done in a small arcing movement instead of a direct push down.
Do not have right wrist near your waist as in photo

(Fig 8)
Instead your hand should end considerably below your koshi (waist)

Fig 9
Uchi then does tsugi ashi with tsuki (sliding step with thrust)

Fig 10
Both then go to gei dan, squaroff and step back 5 steps begining with the left foot.(hidori ashi)
