Kote Gaeshi
by Phil Scudieri sensei
This is a simple application of kote gaeshi with a katana. Be sure to practice slowly to get the proper hand and foot placements.
I also recomend using a wood bokken only, unless you have a lot of expierience!.
Uchi tachi and shi tachi face each other.

Each step forward with hiza giri (knee cut)

Both step forward with their left foot. Uchi tachi grabs the wrist in a normal grab

Closer look at wrist placement.
Shitachi wraps his hand around Uchi's in kote gaeshi fashion.

Shitachi drops to his knee turning Uchi's wrist causing him to go over.

Thanks to Chris Engel as Uke
