Scudieri Sensei Honored at Hall of Fame

Kenjutsu International Association of Instructors President and Hanshi, Philip M Scudieri was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame March 3, 2007 in New York City. The USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame was founded by American Karate Legend Robert Trias and Dr. Jim Thompson in 1976. Trias Sensei opened the first karate dojo in America in 1947 and was a dominant force in the karate world for many years. Scudieri Sensei was awarded "Kenjutsu Grand Master of the Year" He is the first to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in this category.

Many members of KIAI have already sent their congratulations directly to Scudieri sensei. Once more, our most sincere congratulations to president of KIAI, a true model teacher for all present and future generations of ken instructors.
