In Memoriam
On Thursday December 14th, martial artists in the Delmarva region of the U.S. were stunned to hear that 42 year old Josh Freeman had been killed in a helicopter crash in Dagsboro, De. Mr. Freeman was a Renshi in the Itto Tenshin Ryu and owner of the beautiful Tomon Dojo in Olney, MD. Mr. Freeman was part owner of the Washington Capitals hockey team and a major developer in the Mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Freeman was known for his generosity and willingness to help the people on the Eastern Shore of Delaware and Maryland. Mr. Freeman’s son Nick is a Black Belt in Karate under Philip Scudieri Sensei, Vice President of KIAI, and sensei at the Delaware Budokan. He will be missed by many. End of Page |
