Scudieri Sensei visits Panther Martial Arts

On June 16, 2007 Scudieri Sensei and Kyoshi Celinda Ellsworth from the Delaware Budokan met with students from Panther Martial Arts in Berlin Maryland.

The Panther Martial Arts dojo is a large modern style dojo with a touch of Native American influence. Fourth degree black belt and Native American, Shawn Saunders, mixes tribal wisdom with the teachings of the martial arts he has studied, such as, Japanese Kenpo and Korean Tae Kwon Do.

Scudieri Sensei introduced basic kihon such as happo game, (eight postures) happo giri (eight cuts) and basic kumitachi. Everyone enjoyed themselves and came away with a new understanding of the Japanese art of Kenjutsu.
