A Note on Adam, Brother of Christ

The Khazars believed that the first and last man, Adam, elder brother to Christ and younger brother to Satan, was created out of seven parts. Satan created him: he made his flesh from the earth, his bones from stones, his eyes quick to evil from water, his blood from the dew, his breath from the winds, his thoughts from the clouds, and his mind from the speed of angels. But he could not come to life until his real and second father, God, breathed a soul into him. When the soul entered him, Adam's left thumb touched his right, the masculine touching the feminine, and he came to life. Of the two worlds--the invisible, spiritual one created by God and the visible, material one built by the unjust economies of the devil--only Adam was the child of both creators and the work of both worlds. Satan then enclosed two fallen angels in his body, and such was the lust that grew inside that not until the world's end will they be able to gratify and allay it. The first angel was named Adam and the second Eve. Eve had nets instead of eyes and a rope in place of a tongue. The latter was in the shape of the Great Loop or chains. Adam immediately began to age, because his soul was a migratory bird, dividing itself between and migrating to different times. At first Adam was made of only two times--the masculine and the feminine in him. Then of four (belonging to Eve and his sons, Cain, Abel, and Seth). But later the particles of time enclosed in the human form steadily multiplied, and Adam's body multiplied, until it became an enormous state, like the state of nature. Only different in composition. All his life, the last mortal will search inside Adam's head for an exit, but he will not find it, because the way in and out of Adam's body was found only by Christ. Adam's immense body lies not in space but in time. Now, it is not easy to slip into miracles as into shoes or to make a shovel out of words. Therefore, not only does Adam's soul migrate to all later generations (for the migration of the soul is always the migration of only one single soul, Adam's), but all the deaths of Adam's descendants migrate and return to Adam's death, like particles forming a huge death commensurate in size to Adam's body and life. Imagine white birds migrating and black birds returning from migration. When his last descendant dies, Adam himself will die, for in him are repeated the deaths of all his children. And then, as in the fable of the crow and the feather, earth, stone, water, dew, wind, cloud, and angel will come, and all will take from Adam what is theirs and empty him out. And then woe upon those who have deserted Adam's body, the body of man's first father, for they will not be able to die with him or like him. They will become not people but something else.

Hence Khazar dream hunters search for the original man, for Adam, and assemble their dictionaries, glossaries, or alphabeticons. However, one must know that what the Khazars call a dream is not what we mean by a dream. Our dreams are remembered until one looks at the window; as soon as one looks, they disperse and are forever gone. With the Khazars it is not like that.

They believe that in the life of every man there are knot points, small parts of time like keys. Hence, every Khazar had his own stick and in the course if his life would put notches in it, carving states of clear consciousness or moments of the sublime fulfillment of life. each of these markings was named after and animal or a precious stone. And called a "dream." To the Khazars, therefore, a dream was not just the day of our nights; it could also be the mysterious starry night of our days. Dream hunters, or dream readers, were priests who interpreted these markings and used them to create dictionaries or biographies, but not in the ancient sense of the words, not like Plutarch or Cornelius Nepos. These were collections of nameless biographies complied from those moments of enlightenment where man becomes part of Adam's body. If only for a moment in his life, every man becomes a part of Adam, and when all these moments are assembled, one gets the body of Adam on earth, not in form but in time, because only one part of time is illuminated, accessible, and useable. Adam's piece of time. The rest lies for us in darkness and serves somebody else. Our future is like the tentacles of a snail: as soon as it touches something hard it withdraws, and it sees only when it comes all the way out. Adam always sees like that, because he knows all deaths of all people, in advance until the end of the world, also knows the world's future. Thus, it is only by joining Adam's body that we ourselves become all-seeing and joint owners of our future. Therein lies the basic difference between Satan and Adam: the devil does not see the future. That is why the Khazars searched for Adam's body, why the feminine and masculine books of the Khazar dream hunters were a bit like Adam's icons, in which the feminine marked his body and the masculine his blood. The Khazars knew, of course, that their sorcerers could not encompass the entire body or depict it in their dictionary icons. In fact, they often painted two icons without any face, but with two thumbs--the left and the right, Adam's feminine and masculine thumb. For each part captured in the dictionaries could be put into motion and come to life after the touching of two fingers, the masculine and the feminine. Therefore, in their dictionaries the Khazars paid particular attention to mastering these two parts of Adam's body, and it is believed that they even succeeded, but did not have enough time to migrate his children and return to his body as the deaths of those children, a part of his immense body-state can at any moment and in every one of us be killed again or revived. It only takes the prophetic touch of the fingers, the masculine and feminine, provided we have built at least a part of Adam's body behind those fingers. That we have become part of it.
