Moon Phases and Fishing

Record catches indicates fish are active, feeding and are more likely to be caught during a full moon or a new moon (dark) 3 days before to 3 days after. This is due to the increase of the moons gravitational pull toward earth. At these times the moon is closer to earth. As always depth, presentation and weather changes are contributors factors in this formula  One tip I have always used is, the fishing is always best when the moon is directly over-head or under-foot!
