Ok ! Get Ready !...Stand Up ! HOOK UP!
With these commands the troopers of the 101st Airborne Division jumped into the dark night above Normandy. They didn't know Europe didn't have to care about a war that wasn't theirs but still they did their duty and jumped into their rendez-vous with destiny. Scattered over the all Contentin peninsula and reduced to 20% on their dropzones, they did what Shaef-Command expected. When the Beach-Assaults on Utah,Omaha,Gold,Sword and Juno began they'd reached their objectives.The 101st Airborne dropped near Utah Beach with main objectives Sainte-Marie du Mont opened right on time with small groups (between 8 to 14 men)the causeways the Beach Assault troops needed. With hard fighting the 101 st Airborne Division Troopers not only signed up with their rendez-vous with destiny but alsoo with History . This site wants to represent them with pride in Europe, LESS WE FORGET ! LET'S HONOR THOSE WHO SACRIFICED THEIR YOUTH FOR THE FREEDOM WE KNOW NOW ! LET THEIR HISTORY BE NEVER FORGOTTEN!!!
