The History of Phoenecia
The Dawn of the Sun Carriers
The Preparations were made, and a new ship, "The Pride of Phoenecia" was
built. In it, Ra and Horus would lead the first Phoenecian expedition
into Space. Great Fanfare and Celebration accompanied the launching
of the gleaming, crysyal and metal Phoenix-shaped craft's maiden voyage
out into the void of space, and out among the worlds of this soon-to-be
explored system, and, when the time would be right, the Andromeda Galaxy,
and Beyond. THe first stops of the Pride of Phoenecia were made on
Phoenecia's moon to place a communications beacon and a commemorative memorial
to this Historical event. Later stops brought the Sun-powered Pride
of Phoenecia to the nearer planets to Phoenecia's sun, finding no life
at first, but discovering new minerals, and new knowledge of the space
around them.
Other planets were investigated, and found to be at the very brink of life,
meaning, Life would soon exist on these worlds. to land on them might
prevent this most sacred of events from occurring, but seeing the prelude
to Genesis was a Heartwarming experience, making these worlds worth exploring
in future years. Outward the Pride fo Phoenecia glided on the cosmic
winds, outward to the Outermost world, where Terecians had suspected life
in existence. Initial observations concluded, life was here.
As the Pride of Phoenecia approached, though, they found Starships surrounding
that world. Odd metal cubes seemingly composed of pipelines.
Within would be found another Symbiotic race, but with a mission whose
purpose opposed the Pride of Phoenecia and its crew: the Borg.
