What Is TetriNET?

TetriNET is a program that lets you play tetris with other people on the internet. I got this program from someone via icq file transfer. So, I thought to myself, wouldn't it be fun to play tetris with other people in my site. Well, this is just a test.... If you like this, I will continue to keep it open as long as I can.

How Do I Play?

Well, first, you have to download TetriNET. Open tetriNET after you have extracted it. When you have done so, you will see a row of buttons on the bottom of the window. Click 'Misc. Settings' and fix whatever that needs to be fixed there. (Remember them.) Go to 'Client Settings' and paste cometail.dynip.com in the area where they ask for an I.P Number and enter your nickname below that. Click connect and then click 'PartyLine.' There, if we are opened, you will see people talking or away already playing a game. If there is no one there, you either messed up or we are closed for the day. When 'the game has started' appears on the screen, click 'show fields' to start playing. Type 't' to type something at the bottom. Press whatever number you came in as to use the bombs.

Bombs?

Here are some of what the letters on the balls mean:

O - arranges blocks so they are in the air.

Q - quake....shifts the blocks every where

A - add a line

B - clear all the bombs from playing board

R - clear special bombs from playing board

C - clear a line

S - switch board with someone

G - gravity...all the wholes disappear

N - nuke..makes all blocks disappear in your playing board What Time Does It Open?

It opens around 2:30 pm and closes around 5:30 pm Pacific time.
