Bestial Records, one of the most important label from Romania, started in December 1996. Till now, the best Romanian doom / death / black metal bands were produced by the label. Bands like Negurã Bunet ( the Romanian black metal kings ) , Grimegod, Abigail, Dies Irae and God are now pretty known all around the world. Even if Bestial Records started editing the albums only on tapes ( due to the lack of money, Romania isn't a good market for the CDs ), soon all the newest releases will appear also on CD, because now the bands are appreciated outside. Bestial Records is in touch with a lot of underground zines, webzines, radio stations.
Bestial runs also a distro (mail-order service), with more than 3000 customers all around the country. Respecting the Underground spirit, Bestial Records spreads in Romania a lot of underground bands like DEMIMONDE and SILENT STREAM OF GODLESS ELEGY from Czech Republic and RUDRA from Singapore
