Indonesian is always pronounced on the next to the last syllable. E is always unstressed, except when it has an accent like this:é. Thus, the number 4, spelled empat is pronounced umpat.
K at the end of a word has a slight catch to it, almost silent, and it's written as q in the pronunciation column.
