Nakia is a lovely, sweet and beautiful young actress.
I first wrote to her after seeing the Power Rangers Zeo episode Song Sung Yellow back in early 1997. I watched the episode and thought, "Wow, this actress is amazing". She can act, sing, dance among many other things and I wanted to show her how much I appreciate them. Also, I couldn't find any information about her so which better person to ask than Nakia Burrise herself!

Nakia was born in San Diego on October 21 19..
She was raised in Stockton, California with her two brothers, one younger and on older (Marvell and Cornell) by her two supportive and loving parents (Deborah and Cornell) and with the loving of God at her side.
Nakia has performed since the age of 4, beginning with acrobatics, modern dance, ballet, jazz and hip-hop. She performed her first musical at around the same time and has done a lot of professional theatre. Some of the plays include, Dreamgirls, Bye-Bye Birdie, Cinderella, Godspell, Two Gentlemen of Verona and Grease.
She has recently graduated from UCLA with a bachelor in Theatre Arts (with thanks from the gracious lord.)
Nakia takes each day with a blessing from the almighty God as she says she would be nothing without him.
Some of the television shows Nakia has starred in include, Power Rangers Zeo, Power Rangers Turbo, Smart Guy and a small part in the Disney movie Under Wraps. Nakia made her big screen debut in Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie.
