Cartoonist Bill Watterson started Calvin and Hobbes in 1985. For a whole decade, Calvin and Hobbes appeared in newspapers all over the world and Calvin remained six years old all the time. Last Calvin and Hobbes comic strip was published on 31. 12. 1995. After that last color Sunday strip, Bill Watterson decided it's time to stop. You can read a letter he sent to the editors, explaining briefly the reasons for his decision.
