Leading computing industry innovator Microsun Corporation have announced a breakthrough in user interface technology which will lead to enhanced user experiences for users of their enterprise-level business-ready software product range. The innovation, continuing the pioneering efforts made by the company over the past two decades, extends the "wizard" concept which has been so popular amongst users and managers alike for so long.
The first product to carry this potentially exciting technology will be Microsun Logging Merchant. Incorporating the all-new "Timber Wizard" the amazing technical breakthrough enables users for the very first time to see the wood for the trees. "Since bringing some powerful and essential new features into the Logging Merchant product, such as woodcarving and varnish tools, we were surprised to find that some users were asking for help on how to achieve the most basic tasks." says Larry N. Hancement, Head of Product Development at Microsun, "So to help them discover the best way of achieving these rarely tackled problems, such as finding trees and cutting them down, we've added the wizard to guide them through the process. If the user is struggling at any point, the wizard will intervene and repeatedly offer advice on how to do the user's job properly."
However, skeptics deny that the wizard really makes any sense to novice users and is a source of irritation for advanced users. "If I had to use software like that then I would be wanting that wizard-thing out of my face 100% of the time." claims Simon O'Pure of Sun Microsoftware Inc, Soho, West Texas.
