Chron Persona - Maraja

**Emotional Desc**

Has an extreme hate of the white goddess Verina and her Paladins. She is never second to attack and her first weapon is almost always her fist or foot (remember, the Amulet of Hedaryn protects her). She is very devoted to Hedaryn's dark ways, and nothing could change her faith. She has used the amulet's powers to change those who worship Verina or any of the White Gods to the Dark Gods. She is quick, intelligent, strategies, arrogant and at times very cruel (from the times people have attempted murder/assassination). She is often in fear and would rather stay in the presence of her god than go out into the world. Her major weakness is fear.

**History**

Born to an Acolyte of Verina. She was expected to become a priestess of Verina. Maraja hated her mother and one day when she was 7, she was kidnapped by a Paladin of Heradyn, who sensed Maraja's hate of her mother and of the white gods. When she was brought to the temple of Hedaryn in Zhylar, Heradyn brought her into his teachings. She accepted everything and later "avenged" her mother and one of the priests she was to be under in the temple of Verina at Cortalis during her search of the Trinity of Darkness (Verina had scattered each part of it after defeating a dark paladin long ago). When she had brought each part of the Trinity before Hedaryn, she became a Paladin at the age of 87. She is still training though, because she needs to use her full potential of her magic and the Trinity of Darkness before she goes before Verina's Paladins again.

**Pets' Desc(s)**

Kaisha and Kail are black wolves. They are brother and sister and are huge and strong. They stand beside Maraja in a fight, but are not protected by the Amulet. Two huge black wolves have become Maraja's symbol, and though those who follow the darker gods are hunted out, they are feared and black, snarling wolves set a fear into people's minds that is almost irreversible.

**Physical Desc**

4'5", black hair, pale skin, green cat-like eyes and full red lips. She is thin, but strong and an extremely good fighter.
